Our club has been very busy this year. starting our year off we had a coat drive to support the CAC in town and we were able to bring in over 100 coats. On November 1st we had our annual boot drive that raised money for our scholarships that we give to the Seniors of Murdock Middle High School in June. We also gave out Thanksgiving baskets to families that we in need of them this year. We will be doing the same for Christmas. Next year we will be having our Annual Super Bowl Meat Raffle and our Karaoke night.
There is also very exciting news for our club this year. Our past King Lion and the districts immediate past CST Mark Desmarais has announced that he will be running for 1st Vice District Governor for District 33A. We are very proud of him. So throughout the next couple of years we will be having fund raisers for him to support him throughout his journey. The first of which will be a Spaghetti Dinner/ Live Auction/ Dancing. This will take place on January 3, 2008 at the American Legion in Winchendon, MA. The tickets are $5 a person and the dinner will begin at 6pm with the auction to follow immediately. We hope that everyone is able to attend.
